This year, join Louise in taking her first steps and inspiring you to continue yours on your path to mental health.
For its 4th edition, the annual J’avance en marchant walk becomes the Relief walk! The weekend of October 2 and 3,
we invite you to take a walk from wherever you are! Because walking for mental health already puts you on the right track.
the weekend of October 2 and 3,
we invite you to take a walk from wherever you are!
*J’avance en marchant becomes the Relief walk
choose the distance and path that makes you feel good during that weekend.
5, 10, 15, 20 km… every step counts for our collective well-being, even the smallest.
Because we don’t always choose the path our mental health takes us on, this time you can choose your path. Whether you walk along city streets, in the forest, by the sea, no matter where you are in the country; you can take a long walk or add up your kilometers over many short walks! Because walking for mental health already puts you on the right path.
Whether you participate alone or in a group, you will receive exclusive access to our podcast and a wellness journal that will suggest actions to take to continue on your mental health journey. If you need help registering, check out our sign up guide.
Your participation and donations will increase Relief's support capacity and improve our services' quality, and make them accessible to all.
and don’t forget that all participants who raise a minimum of $100 will be eligible to enter a prize draw!
Pride, gratitude, achievement! Last year, more than 200 participants walked and raised $55,000 for the cause of mental health and Relief's mission. A sense of accomplishment and fulfillment felt across our community, both personally and collectively.
“Voilà! I have just reached 10km and I feel proud and strong! A special thanks to my daughter and two dogs who accompanied and supported me the whole way. Without you, the walk wouldn’t have been the same.
A huge thank you to my friends for their generous contributions to Relief. I am deeply touched. Thank you!” – Martine Maisonneuve
socks that warm your feet and heart!
For each pair sold, Horace Jewelry will donate $5 to Relief and Robin des bas will give a pair of socks to a person experiencing homelessness. A comforting way to support people living with anxiety, depression or bipolarity, as well as their loved ones!
